Answer the Call

Walk the path from mortal desktop to the mists of Pandaria — forge your account, tune your client, and cross into the WoW Emulator realm.

  1. Seal your pact — create an account

    Your account is the key that opens both our website and the game world. Register once, and the same name and password will serve you in Azeroth.

  2. Prepare the MoP client — patch 5.4.8 (build 18414)

    This realm speaks the tongue of Mists of Pandaria at 5.4.8 (build 18414). Your client must match that era exactly, or the gates will not open.

  3. Descend into the WTF vault

    Open your World of Warcraft folder — where wow.exe dwells — and step into the WTF directory hidden within.

  4. Unseal config.wtf

    Right-click config.wtf → Open with → Notepad (or drag it into any plain text scribe). This file holds the ley lines that point your client at our realm.

  5. Inscribe the realm runes

    Clear the old verses and etch exactly these lines — nothing more is required for the connection spell:

    SET realmlist "play.wowemulator.com"
SET portal "play.wowemulator.com"
Launch wow.exe from the game folder — not the Launcher — and enter with the credentials you forged on the website. The mists part for you. We will see you there, hero.
